HKU Project: Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd
september 2024 – february 2025
At the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) I have created an interactive experience where players aim to hunt a ghost that haunts the Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd together with two 3D artists and two game designers. By walking around the estate with GPS functionality and scanning signs with NFC-chips and/or QR codes, the player experiences a fun and creative ghost hunt with multiple thrilling digital minigames.

Grachtwerk Website
October 2024
For my personal website, I integrated a dynamic Three.js shader into the WordPress design to showcase my passion for creative coding. The header shown above features a real-time WebGL rendering of an abstract, fluid-like pattern generated using Perlin noise.
RYSST: Junior Software Engineer
June 2023 – november 2024
For Rent Your Student Scrum Team (RYSST) I have been working as a full-stack Junior Software Engineer in teams with up to three other students. Through RYSST, I have been working for Cloudwise on front and backend software which is used by hundreds of schools to manage SIS and HRM data on a daily basis. Besides the immense full-stack knowledge, I have gained a thorough understanding of working with Scrum and Agile principles.

Guild Legend
2022 – now
Guild Legend is a 2D RPG game made in Unity. In Guild Legend, the player manages a guild with various adventurers. The goal is to explore the vast unknown lands, slay epic monsters and expand your guild to eventually become the greatest of them all. Guild Legend has been a passion project that I have been continuously working on, aiming to be released somewhere in 2025.
UU Final Project: Realtime 2D to 3D
feb 2022 – jul 2022
For the final project of my Bsc. Computer Science at Utrecht University, me and eleven others were tasked to develop a pipeline which converted real-time flat 2D imagery to a trackable 3D environment in Unity. In this environment, people were identified using machine learning techniques and their positions converted to real world GPS locations. I was the head of the 3D positioning team, guiding four others and developing a technique to convert 2D screen locations to real world GPS locations in real-time. A video showcasing the pipeline can be found here.

UU Teaching Assistant: Web Technology
feb 2020 – May 2020
Besides completing the Teaching Assistant training provided by Utrecht University, I have acted as a teaching assistant for the Web Technology course (INFOB2WT) for the Bsc. Computer Science. As a teaching assistant, I supervised practical sessions, answered questions from students, discussed and explained theory, and graded various practical assignments from students. The practical assignments required working with various front-end and back-end techniques and principles.
